Cara mengatasi Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_nav_menus() in /home/ ...

Jika anda seorang blogger yang sering menggunakan wordpress, mungkin anda pernah mengalami yang nama fatal error function di blog wordpress anda ketika akan ganti theme. Biasanya tulisannya begini:

Kita mungkin panik karena blog yang kita miliki ga bisa diutak-atik lagi. Setiap kali kita mencoba akses blog kita, kata Fatal error terus saja muncul. Bagi mereka yang tidak tahu cara mengatasinya, terpaksa harus install ulang tuh wordpress. Syukur kalau ada backup database, jika tidak ada maka harus mengulang dari awal.

Maka solusinya cukup sederhana. Berikut ini langkah-langkah mengatasinya:
1. Masuk ke cpanel>>file manager
2. Setelah masuk wp_content dimana theme anda berada. Rename nama theme anda yang bermasalah dengan nama lain.
3. Setelah itu, pilih theme yang anda pakai sebelumnya dan tidak bermasalah. Kemudian rename theme tersebut dengan nama yang sama persis dengan nama theme yang bermasalah.
4. Refresh cpanel anda, kemudian coba akses blog anda.

Cara Mengatasi "iertutil.dll not found" error

Pernah ngalamin "iertutil.dll not found" error ? Aku pernah, dan ini cara untuk mengatasinya.

Beberapa hari yang lalu aku dapat keluhan dari istriku, katanya laptopnya kena virus. Emang tuh laptop belum aku install anti-virus. Kemudian aku cek dengan 2 anti virus andalan aku. PCMAv terbaru dan Kaspersky 2010 yang aku miliki. Setelah discan berjam-jam, ada beberapa virus yang ditemukan dan berhasil dibersihkan. Tapi kemudian muncul pesan error "iertutil.dll not found". Waduh, error apalagi nih?

Setelah melakukan penelusuran, ternyata "iertutil.dll not found" error adalah kasus yang muncul sebagai salah satu bug yang ada pada Internet Explorer bawaan Windows XP. Kasus "iertutil.dll not found" paling banyak terjadi pada IE7 dan IE8.

Karena sudah tahu sebabnya, jadinya mudah kan cara memecahkannya. Solusinya adalah uninstall IE kamu. Kalau mau install lagi ambil dari installer yang berbeda. Tapi mending ganti browser aja, ada Google Chrome dan Modzilla Firefox yang kinerjanya lebih bagus dari IE. Kalau tetap ga bisa, ya install ulang aja OS Windowsnya, hehehe...

Jadi "iertutil.dll not found" bukan karena virus.
